We already have a DNN website which runs off of our main web server and changes are made through the DNN control panel. However, we have two other smaller modules which we have developed locally from two separate installations of DNN on separate laptops. Both modules run out of their own virtual folder on different laptops linked to their own separate SQL databases. What we want to do is to deploy these two DNN apps to the main server and to run off of the main servers SQL database that services our original website.

Being quite new to DNN our understanding is that the development we have done with DNN is stored in the SQL database linked to each installation of DNN. If this is so, how do we deploy the two projects we have done without merging the SQL data as well as the virtual directories?

Thanks for any assistance

Are you wanting to deploy the local sites to the main DNN site? Or are you wanting to just install the modules? It sounds like you want to install the modules, not deploy the entire site. You have to install the module on your main site in order to use it. You can do this manually or, you can create a zip file with the necessary files to install on the main site. You can use the Module Development Guide for reference.
