Hi currently on my site I have a module that displays a team roster based on the specific page I am on from a database. This module shows all of the players on a roster and their position. What I am looking to do is create another module that is almost identical to this one but will display the Coaches for this time that are stored in our database. So basically I want to use my player roster module again but I want to change up the code a bit to have it grab the coach information from our database.

prepsonthenet.com/dnn/Sports/BoysBasketball/Teams/BoysBasketballTeamHome/tabid/449/SID/1/SPID/2/Year/2008/Default.aspx

So what I am looking to do is basically just get a duplicate copy of the player module and upload another existent of it and change it to read the coach information. I am not sure if this is a simple task or what I would have to do to go about this. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

if you want to use a modified version on the same installation, you need to duplicate the module (folder and module definition), adopt all the namespaces to avoid conflicts, you might need to adopt table names and stored procedure names as well.

Maybe extending the module with a type selector would be easier.
