I try to search for issues before posting in gemini, but it's painfully slow to return search results... sometimes takes 30-60 seconds, or sometimes just times out.  Does anyone else have that issue?

i.e. I'd like to try to search for the same issue with different wording.. but not when it takes 10 minutes to search.

Any way to speed it up? Or am I only one with this problem?

You're lucky. Gemini usually crashes or times out when I search for something. I have to admit, I try to search for existing problems, but sometimes I just add them out of frustration. If it takes longer to search Gemini and add a new issue, than changing the source in my installation, I'll simply change the source. Last time I mentioned my problems with Gemini, I was told, that's the way things are...

I search via filters:

http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Community/Blogs/tabid/825/EntryId/1589/How-to-follow-DNN-outstanding-issues-within-the-Gemini-project-tracker.aspx

Yes I know the search stinks, I just use the software just like you guys....
Unfortunately there are always a thousand other things in the way which prevent this being repaired it seems.... still there has been more talk about this recently internally... not sure through if there is any movement.

I was told, that's the way things are..

DNN Corp have found it difficult to upgrade from a technical and perspective over the last few years.... as always there are far too many balls to juggle .... So I have learnt to "love" gemini as an evil twin....  well ... OK love isn't quite the word....

Still one day maybe....
