At this point I'm at a loss Leela. It doesn't make sense to me that some can login and some can't unless there's something interferring with the login process on those computers.

Here is the error I'm seeing on dnn's eventviewer when I get the login failed for one particular user, I even deleted this user from AD and recreated the user with same name and it still doesn't work, but if I create a copy of this user in AD, with a new name ofcourse, it works.

I'll try to take a look at the code tomorrow to see if I can find any clue there. Have you tried logging in as this user on another computer? Just trying to rule out the user's computer itself. You could also try LDAPBrowser and see if you can see the user's properties with that from the server (or use the user's credentials in LDAPBrowser). Why I'm pointing out these other options is because in the past with similar problems it's been a problem with the user object/AD rather than with the AD code itself (the fact that other users are getting logged in supports that).

I will try your suggestions.  I also think is an issue with the AD objects, we did try from different computers, but those users still can't log in.  I'll keep looking... thanks.
