Thanks Oliver - have you seen it actually work

I modified the Title_Grey container and registered the LinkActions skinobject, and then referenced it under the ActionButtons in the c_footer. When access the site and logged in as Host, I see the following under the new "HTML_Community" module (in addition to the Print/Edit content default actionbuttons...

| Edit Content | Export Content | Import Content | Help | Online Help | Print | Settings | Delete | Refresh | Move |

I really would just say this skinobject is pointless, it doesn't provide any options I can see to control what gets written as a link. Nothing in the core that I can find utilizes it. I wouldn't bother wasting the amount of time I did researching the code, and I'd just roll your own custom skinobject to do whatever it is you require

Yes, it works for me as Admin/Host too - the problem is when you give Edit Rights to Registered users it does not show up - can you try this please?

It is used in a container in MobiNuke for the mobile browser actions. I had to replace it with the ModuleActions skinobject but it does render them nicely for a small browser - if it works...

toggled 'All Users' can edit the module, appeared was the "Help" and "Online Help" actions via the LinkActions skinobject on the HTML_Community module.

toggled 'Registered Users', removed the 'All User' permissions, created new account 'test' with default permissions, logged in on another computer, 'Edit Content', 'Help' and 'Online Help' appear via the LinkActions control.

I'm also doing all my testing in 5.1.0.501...
