I'm trying to move my company away from sharepoint and over to DNN. I'm having a problem with configuring DNN to allow users with edit permisions to add modules. The user with edit permissions for the page logs in, goes to the page and the View / Edit / Layout options and everything else are there, however when they attempt to click the drop down menu for modules in "Add new module" there's nothing there. I have loaded several modules as I have layed out the rest of the site myself with several pages created, forums, blog etc..... so  I know they do exist. What do I need to do to allow users with edit permissions to add modules, or have I done everything correctly and there's just something screwey with that user?

What version of DNN are you using?

For DNN 5.x, check the "Extensions" option in the Admin menu and insure you have granted "deploy" permission to the appropriate user roles.

Yes, that solved the problem. A short read on creating security roles / groups and everything is now working. Thank you.
