What is the best way to give certain restricted administrators access to the Pages and File Manager menu items.

I could not find a way to set the permissions on the Admin pages/menu items. My work around was to create a second Admin menu with links to these pages but was wondering if that truly is the only (best?) way to do this.

Thanks!
Mike

What version are you using? I do believe (and some one please correct me if I am wrong here), that you can do this in DNN 5.x

ITLackey is correct. Host and Admin modules in 5.x have been separated from the fixed method found in previous versions. With this new flexibility you can limit access through modules settings or even create your own custom menus.

We are using 4.9.0.

We have not decided yet about when to attempt the upgrade to v5

Thanks,
Mike

If you plan on staying on v4.x for a while, that may be your best option.
