We have restricted users that have edit access on certain pages.  They can edit any of the modules on those pages with no problems.

However, when they go to copy a page, the modules from that page are not listed under "Specified Modules".  If I go into the original page and specify the Edit permissions for the individual modules, then they will appear in the Copy listing.

Is this a bug or I am missing something.  It would be difficult to have to set module edit permissions on every page.

We are using version 4.9.

Thanks,
Mike

I apologize, that DNN UI is not always precise.

To copy a module, the module type needs to support iPortable interface.

In some places (like control panel), copy means "shadow" a module instance, i.e. any content modification will affect all references.

PS: I tried to make it easier to gasp in the German translation, i.e. if you understand German you might benefit from the extended translation.

To be clear, none of the common Module Types are showing in the Specified Modules list.
