Hi,

I installed wiki zip file to my dotnetnuke portal. and added wiki module to my page. when i tried to debug the code, the code is not getting debugged.

What my manager said in this situation is that i need to create a development environment for this wiki module in dotnetnuke. how to achieve.

I have already spent more hours on this. i didnt find a good solution. hope you will be a good help

Thanks in advance.

You need to install the Wiki source code, downloadable from here at DotNetNuke.com. Then you can open the Wiki project, press F5 to start it up in Debug mode. You need to have DNN setup at http://localhost/dotnetnuke_2 unless you want to physically change the Wiki project files to use a different path.

1. Install the SOURCE file as a module on DNN, then the project files will be in the desktopmodules/wiki folder.

2. that depends, the wiki project looks for localhost/dotnetnuke_2, you will either need to make it look for a different path (in the project properties) or you will need to setup a new DNN instance.

How to create the development environment for the same. i am newbie to DNN.
