Hi, my web site was developed on a Win 03 Server with MS-SQL 2005. I moved to a Hosting Company with Win 08 Server and MS-SQL 2008, I copied Databse and the Web files to the new server, everything is working fine except:

When anyone try to Register, it freeze thinking, then a message come in the top of the Registration screen with "An Unexpected Error Occurred During Registration. Please Contact The Portal Administrator For Futher Information." needless to say that the email is never sent to the registering party.

I think it has to do something with sending the email with the verification code, why do I say this? because when you try to register the same user, you get the message "A User Already Exists For the Username Specified. Please Register Again Using A Different Username."

I have tried finding something on the forum with the same problem, but I did not find anything, I am a newbie so I will need details (step by step) instructions.

make sure you set up the stmp settings in Host settings correctly - you will need to set the mail domain address, the user login and the password - set the mode to basic at first and then send a test email.
