hello ppl

I am very new to dnn and I would like your help in two points. I am building a site using dnn 5.

1) I dont need my site to have registered users so I dont want to show the Login link on every page. Ofc, I need to be able to login as Adm or Host. Is there a way to hide the link and still allow a user to logon as admin?

2) I dont want to install a second language pack but I want to translate some fixed text in some modules, for example the Feedback module. What is the easiest way to just replace the default text with my text? Is it possible to do it within the site or I have to manualy alter some files, and what files exactly?

thank u

If you add "?ctl=login" to the end of your URL, it will show the login control (so you can remove it from the page and just let admins know how to get to the login page).

If you go through the language editor, you can change the text without installing a new language pack.  Once in the Language Editor, you'll want to select something like Local Resources/DesktopModules/Feedback/App_LocalResources/ViewFeedback.ascx on the left hand side to get the text for the Feedback module.

Hope that helps,
