IMHO the text editor should stay away from altering content on this level, thats something for the framework to decide upon.

The problem with the current package is that it misses a few of the more recent FCK editor settings, so it is hard to turn this behavior off. Luckily, you can add the setting quite easily though.

On my systems i use this extra setting in fckconfig.js:

FCKConfig.EMailProtection = 'none' ; // none | encode | function
FCKConfig.EMailProtectionFunction = 'mt(NAME,DOMAIN,SUBJECT,BODY)' ;

which will remove the email protection function alltogether

moved thread to fck editor provider forum, since this has nothing to do with the text/html module per se, but is an FCK Editor issue

Hi

I'm having this problem so I've added the lines above to the fckconfig.js file but the problem persists.  I cannot seem to turn it off.

Can you help?

Gus

Gus,

did you add it to /providers/htmleditorproviders/fck/custom/ fckconfig.js ?
