I am creating a website for my school district, and for the High School portal we are looking to create a page for every teacher in the building (around 100-150) and give access to fully edit the content of each of their own pages. I am looking for a way to allow teachers to log in and edit one page that we choose, which will be their teacher page. I haven't been able to figure this out yet, so maybe it's something simple I'm looking over. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

You should be able to give the user permissions to edit that page, which would then allow them to edit the page as they see fit. Not sure if that gives them too much control, as they can add modules on the page as well. If you don't want them to be able to add modules to the page, you could just add the user to the modules settings with edit rights.

  1. Make the pages with Text/HTML modules
  2. Under Page Settings, allow only the Username to VIEW the page
  3. Under MODULE SETTINGS > Permissions >  UNCHECK Inherit the View Permissions from Page,
  4. Set the permissions for the Username to View and Edit the module

This should allow them to do basic HTML editing with some embedding without giving them too many buttons to click and destroy the world.
