I've installed DNN 5.0.1. I installed a skin once, and then used this on one site page only and no admin pages. These still use the default skin. When I go to install a new skin (Host menu then Skins), or when I go to install a new module (Host > Module definitions) there is now no longer any link  to install a new skin or module. Does anyone have any idea how I can restore the links????

I found this which seemed to indicate that maybe this was skin related:

however as the install new skin link has gone too I can't even revert to the DNN-Blue skin as this link has disappeared too. Please Help!

Hi,

Im having the same issue, except  I am in "edit mode". If I login as the Host or Admin, I have no button to install new skins. I currently have a 4.9 skin up on my site, and the skin author has 5.0+ version available. I simply wanted to install the 5.0+ version. Any help would be appreciated!

Larry,

DNN 5 introduced a new Skin packaging format, which is not recognised by DNN 4. Ask the skinner to zip up the files as in DNN 4 and it should install fine on your site.
