Hi All,

I have downloaded and setup a local install of the "install package" 4.9, everything is working just fine but I'm not sure about adding a new site (local). Do I point my browser to my existing site, login as host and add another Portal? Do I need to setup another Virtual Directory in IIS (5.1)? This second site would have no relationship to the first site. Sorry if this sound like real dumb questions but it's just doing these things for the first time.

Thanks in advance

Do not create additional IIS web site! You need to point the second domain to the same IIS web site (either using catch all for the IP or host header values) and afterwards create a new portal inside DNN.

Thanks for the reply Sebastian,

I'm using Dreamweaver 8 and the settings for my existing site for the testing server is;

Server Model = ASP.NET VB

Access= Local/Network

Testing Server= C:\interpub\wwwroot\

URL prefix= http://localhost/

So, do I just use these same settings for the new site? I'm OK with the add new Portal procedure but don't know where to check "catch all for the IP or host header values"

Thanks for your patience.
