I would have reported this yesterday too, but since the upgrade I'm unable to start a new forum thread (can still reply though, strange). Any ideas? I have dumped my DNN cookies, cleared cache, tried 4 other browsers... I get this wonderful none-descript error:

Try clearing your forum notification preferences (so you receive no notifications). Then after clicking update set them back to the way they were.

Thanks for the suggestion Alex. However it had no effect. I still cannot start a new thread...

Why would this affect initial page loads? Notifications are sent when a reply is posted and hopefully the developer who coded that part is doing the mail stuff in a separate thread so that the web page doesn't have to wait for the mail method to return.

BTW, notifications are still not working. I read this has been fixed.
