Hi DNN team,

I need to develop a CMS for a purely HTML site. There is no database interaction at all. Its all related to creating, editing and deleting contents. We need to create folders and do the linking. Can we customize DNN for this work such as creating buttons and on some action doing the FTP? I am doing a POC for my work. Please help me.

DNN is not the solution for this task.  Though I have no idea why anyone would build a CMS without a database or use purely HTML, that's not something that DNN will do well.  Buy a copy of Expression or any other HTML WYSIWYG editor and you're done.

Hi Abhiskek,

I understand what you need to do.  You need to maintain the html content for a standalone website, using DNN as the content authoring, publishing and approval mechanism.  I have a solution that integrates fully within DNN as a set of modules for content management, and will output html pages for use in a stand alone website.  I would be happy to show you examples and we can make a few customizations for what you are needing including uploading the html pages to your other website.

Contact me directly at 250-755-6419 to discuss or visit my website at www.codeheads.net for contact info.
