We have encountered an issue with DotNetNuke which is resulting in a loss of pages.

A number of pages were created and filled with data. Eventually we decided to change the structure of the pages on the site. This involved adding new pages and moving some pages around - changing some pages from parent pages to child pages, etc. We were using the Admin|Pages function. This process proved difficult and it was very difficult to achieve the structure we wanted. Eventually we managed.

However now there is a new problem. Reference to some of the pages has been lost and there seems to be no way of recovering these pages, except for editing the entries directly in the database. The data still exists but we cannot see it.

We are using version 5.00.01 with SQL Express 2008.

Has anyone encountered this before? Is there a known solution?

I have not heard of any error like this.  SO the pages do not show up at all in the "pages" menu, but they are still there?

Are these items that had their parent page removed or deleted?
