I'm curious if the beta/rc period will continue for at least one more build before the final 5.1 release is posted? It would be really nice to test out the build you guys have been working on all week to make sure nothing else snuck up that wasn't directly related to the performance killer. Anyways, I can't wait to compare the differences between the RC and the next build to see what the issue actually was...

I don't have the answers and can't find them.

However, this is odd..    http://www.dotnetnuke.com/News/PressReleases/ProfessionalEdition51Launch/tabid/1289/Default.aspx

The more I read about PE, the more I get the sinking feeling the CE version will get left in the cold by the module and core developers... I hope not, but I guess we'll see.

Wells, I don't expect PE having a negative effect on modules for CE - there are now new options to provide similar (or even better) features like in PE by 3rd party developers.

Oliver, though I don't have concrete information from the developers, I expect a new RC being posted soon for public testing.
