I and running DNN 4.9.4 on a Vista box.  I have been running this same site for some time and have been upgrading from the original version of 4.8.1.  Somewhere along the line my File Manager has stopped showing file and folders correctly.  It does not matter if I just synchronize or synchronize recuresively.  I should mention that these files and folders have been created in this portal from the Windows file manager side and not from within DNN.  Due to the amount of files I need to transfer into the site, the DNN File Manager is a pain.

This has worked before after a synch but has stopped working.  I have checked permissions etc.  Any ideas how to solve this issue?

Thanks is advance...

I assume that there are files or folders with illegal characters, e.g. ' or other special characters DNN doesn't like.

Check out the Event viewer for issues logged.

I have made sure there are no special characters.  There are spaces in filenames and folders however.  It appears to be just one directory that has this issue after further study.

I looked past an apostrophe all this time.   I took out the apostrophe and all works fine.  Thanks.
