HI . I'm new to DotNetNuke.

I'm trying to set up Google Analytics for my website. There is a script that Google wants me to copy and paste into source code of each page on my site.

Can anyone tell me how to do this?

Thanks

there are a couple of modules around for this purpose, it might be easiest to use one of these - and upcoming DNN 5.1.0 will also include Google Analytics support.

You can do that in a skin or in a module. In rel 5.1 when released it will be a standard component.

However there is a good free module with nice documentation.

Hey Keith,

Here is what I did. Open up the default.aspx in the root. right before </body> insert script from google. Once this is verified by google, you will see your stats after 24 hours. Please make sure if you upgrade dnn you repeat the add as defaut.aspx is changed quite often. This will add the google code to every page in your site. Hope this helps.

Sebastian,

Please, provide more information regarding what the module actually does.

I'm sure that it enables Google Analytics to be "consumed", although I'm not sure what should a developer do besides adding the module's instances to pages and providing ID.

Thank you
