We have only recently started using DNN but have a few client websites up and running on our production server and all has been fine, until last week.

One of our clients has complained that Google Adsense will not approve his ads because of the way DNN URL's work.

Example

Google Adsense destination URL:  http://www.motorvator.co.uk

is dis-approved by Google because the destination URL translates to http://net.loyaltylogistix.com/dnn/Default.aspx?alias=net.loyaltylogistix.com/dnn/ucc when you navigate to it.

Am I able to configure IIS so that the URL remains at http://www.motorvator.co.uk

Hi Mitch, thanks for the response.

There was an existing alias set as net.loyaltylogistix.com/dnn/ucc, this alias was not editable and could not be deleted.

I added a new alias (www.motorvator.co.uk), cleared the cache and even restarted the application but when I navigate to www.motorvator.co.uk the URL is still translated into http://net.loyaltylogistix.com/dnn/Default.aspx?alias=net.loyaltylogistix.com/dnn/ucc

I'm guessing the IIS settings are correct as the www.motorvator.co.uk URL is finding the site so the problem is likely a DNN configuration issue.

I'm using DNN community edition 5.0.0 running on Windows server 2003
