Are either of you running behind a proxy server such as Microsoft ISA?

I most definitely am.  I am working in a Public Schools environment, so it is pretty locked down.  But in order to get something opened up, I need to know what to ask for.  This is why some documentation would be very helpful.

Well proxy setup is far beyond the scope of the news module. I just tested this locally behind our ISA server to feedburner, and it works fine. I'm guessing you didn't set up your proxy. Please verify you have the appropriate proxy setting for your portal in

Host Settings -> Advanced Settings -> Proxy Settings

This would be covered in the DNN docs, not the news modue docs, as it is a host level setting.

Oddly enough, it works fine once the proxy is setup and you hit the page containing the module unauthenticated. However if you authenticate as host it will then create a feed can not be found. I will investigate this further...

**It did start working under host, just had issues initially after logging in so all is well...
