The following 2 errors are popping up in the dashboard of my website whenever I login with min or host accounts and attempt to modify a module (edit text, for example):

DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions.ModuleLoadException: An entry with the same key already exists. ---> System.ArgumentException: An entry with the same key already exists. at System.ThrowHelper.ThrowArgumentException(ExceptionResource resource) at System.Collections.Generic.SortedList`2.Add(TKey key, TValue value) at DotNetNuke.Entities.Modules.DesktopModuleController.GetPortalDesktopModules(Int32 portalID) at DotNetNuke.UI.ControlPanels.IconBar.BindData() at DotNetNuke.UI.ControlPanels.IconBar.Page_Load(Object sender, EventArgs e) --- End of inner exception stack trace ---

Also, there are no modules listed in the drop-down Module List in the control panel, so I cannot modify a page.

Any ideas on this one?

Check out ModuleDefinitions table in your database, there seems to be a duplicate entry (either  path or Friendly name), you need to delete. "Dashboard" and "Console" would be typical candidates.

Hi, Sebastian

Thanks for the tip.

I found that DesktopModules had 2 modules for Google Analytics with the same friendly name, version 1.00 and version 2.00. I uninstalled the version 1.00 module and the corrected the problem. DNN is now working as expected.

I had the same exact problem.  Thanks for figuring it out.  Saved me a few hours.
