Hi everyone,

I have 1 portal. There are some pages which I need different login page for them (look different with whole site login page). There are two ways users can go to these pages:
1)      Click on page link in home page. And then they should be asked to login in their special login page.
2)      They already have the URL of the particular page (they enter it in address bar or they have bookmarked the page). And then they should be asked to login in their special login page.
What can I do?

Create a page with Account Login module on it. Specify this page in Site Settings as Login Module.

[Login] skin object will now point to the login page whereever used.

Hi Sebastian

what you said is a complete different login page for whole portal.

but i need a different login page just for some of my pages. means when users want to see page x and page y , they should login through that custom login page. in other times they should login through dnn default login page.

what do you think?

if you need different logins for specific pages / roles you should have a look at 3rd party modules, e.g. from UCanUse.com. Account Login module will not give you spefic options per instance.

I also have this requirement (the mobile version of my site does not use the FB/OpenID/LiveID Providers) so I need to point it at a different log in page.

I have not looked into it but you could create 2 different log in pages with a Log in module on each and set the main one in the site settings. On the page where you want to use the other one you'd need to either hardcode the link to the other log in page or make a new Login Skin Object that can take in a TabID.

Keep us informed please as I will need to do this at some point....
