Hi there...

I'm just correcting some English for you: "How do I design a skin that incorporates a flash banner rather than an image?"

That's a very good question.  I'd actually like to know the answer to that one too... I usually do this simply by creating a pane, inserting a Text/HTML module and embedding the flash in the source of that using the swfobject script - found here.  I've seem some skinners including banners as skin objects hooked up to xml files that reference images, but I've never known how that's done...

Also, is there a proper way of embedding flash into a skin (using the .ascx method) that could incoporate swfobject scripts (for replacement)..?

Any thoughts or help would be appreciated.

In the past, I believe I've gotten away with creating the skin in HTML w/ the Flash object inserted using object/embed (didn't have much luck using the Satay Method, still need to go back and try again), uploading the skin package and then double-checking the src path(s) in the .ASCX file that's created. However, it's been a while since I've done that and I'm not sure if the same will work with DNN5.
