But AFAIR there was no functional Blog module for DNN 2 - and both, framewok and module, will not include new features like social bookmarks, Gravatar, ...

Anybody knows if there is a porting of dnn2 to asp.net 2.0 ?

no, there is no ASP.Net 2.0 version of .NetNuke 2. DNN 3 was created for it. I strongly suggest to look for a different solution - using a 4 years old version bares a number of risks and you will hardly get any support for it.

more to the point: DNN 3.2.2. is the first DNN version that is able to work with ASP.NET 2.0. In a sense, that dnn version is a  "port" of dnn 2 to .net 2.0 (much of the codebase is the same).

Can someone explain the sudden interest in DNN 2.x? you should never consider using dnn 2 (or 3 for that matter) when starting a new site. There have been too many security fixes in the past years to even consider dnn 2 or 3 safe anymore. also: there won't be any new releases of security patches should you discover an issue....
