Just wondering.

Thanks,

Plans for the new Repository have been put on hold for a while.

The development of DotNetNuke 5.X and some of the new and upcoming features caused me to step back and re-evaluate the design of the module, then I started down a path of 'componentizing' the module as a set of classes (templating, workflow, comment, ratings, etc.) and to then package them as a 'module developer's toolkit', but the corp started talking about the social networking APIs that they are designing for 5.x so I took another step back to see where that was going to avoid wasting everyone's time with a solution that would be obsolete within a year.

Finally, I decided to pick up with the module development again and put out a request for developers to join the team and help me write the new module, but even after hundered of 'views' of the forum post, no one stepped up to help me out.  So for now, the repository remains a one-person project which presents numerous challenges.

I have not abandened the module, will contine to support the current version to the best of my ability, and will hopefully find some time to work on the new version in the near future. However, there is no timetable that I can provide at this time.

Sorry

Thank you.

George.

Good luck Steve and thanks for all the hard work so far - this was always one of my fav modules!

I hope DNN Corp start to work more with module developers (including core project teams) to work on a single strategy for the components you mentioned - there are still far too many options for templating/emailing/form fields/commenting etc. and it would be nice to have a best practices guide or standard API from the core on some of these...
