Hi guys,

I am a newbie to DNN, so please my lack of knowledge (im reading as much as i can!). So basically I need to change the look and feel of the links module that comes with DNN. I have variations.

Variation 1: I need the background of each link to be an image. On the mouseover event, the image changes. I know each of the links sits in a table cell. Can this be done with skinning, or do I need to build a new module? Is it possible to extend the links source module and rename it as a variation. Im not sure how to do this (starting with setting up a development environment to do this) ? This would be ideal, if possible.

Can someone point me in the right direction. Cheers.

would probably be easier to do this with the announcements module, since that is completely templatable

you can also achive it with UserDefinedTable module (or "form and List" in DNN 5), which allows you to render the list nearly as you like.
