 Hi,

just download the event 5.0 and installed it into my test website. however i found when i tried to get into the EventEditor webpage, it got a totally differenet Skin & Layout compared to the EventDetails webpage. I already setup a Skin for the whole Event Module, why the eventedit webpage still got different skin (layout), can i setup the skin for this seperate webpage? because i wanna this webpage(eventedit) to keep the same skin with eventdetails and other pages. anyway could give me some enlightments will greatly appreciated.

BTW, i am a newbie in DNN. thanks alot

Dave

Hi Dave,

Unfortunately many of the views are accessed as if they are edit pages (Edit Event, Edit Locations/Categories, PayPal Enrol are the main ones). These use the Admin Skin/Container as defined in the portals Admin/Site Settings dialogue.

I've worked through a change EVT-10328 - which should correct this, by adding the skin/containers to the URL It will come in version 5.0.3.

Cheers
Roger

Hi Dave,

Version 5.0.2 is going through the DNN release process, and is likely to be a few weeks before release. We are keen to get it published since it fixes some upgrade problems in 5.0.1. Hopefully shortly after that we should have 5.0.3 on beta at www.DNNEvents.net.

A potential option for you is to use the container you want applied as your admin container, set via Admin/Site Settins. But I recognise that this may not be appropriate.

Cheers
Roger
