Hi Everyone,

Does anyone have any idea why my DNN search would stop working?  I've tried telling it to re-index under Search Settings.

Thanks,

~t

Sebastian,

Thanks for the info.  Unfortunately it didn't work.  After taking your advice I did verify that the portal was re-indexing everything by running some select statements on the same tables referenced in your delete statements.

Here's the site, search is on the home page.

Any other ideas as to what might cause this issue?

Blane,

it looks like there is an issue either with the search input skin object or - more likely - with search results.

Please make sure, there is one  AND ONLY ONE SINGLE instance of the module on any page of the portal (including deleted pages and modules!)

Hi Sebastian,

Thanks to your help I was able to resolve the search issue.

Here's what I did.

1. Deleted all pages and modules stored in the recycle bin.

2. Removed a duplicate search result which was installed on the home page.

3. Re-Indexed the Search tables

Everything appears to be working now.

Thanks again!

~t
