Is there a DNN framework API out there somewhere for DNN 5.1 that documents all of the server code? Like what all of the classes/enums/functions and objects are and what they do with an example on how to use it and its output? I think this would help when creating modules and modifying the original source of DNN. It is very hard to try and guess what is in DNN that you can use and where to use it. I had to dig around for 3 days to figure out that there was a ModuleConfiguration.ControlName property I could use in changing the page title. I was then told by the compiler that ModuleConfiguration.ControlName was no longer used, use ModuleConfiguration.DesktopModule.ControlName instead. A reference would make things faster.
