Having a few strange issues with my first installation of DotNetNuke. It's in a shared hosting environment using Plesk 8.4.0, and SQL 2005 DB:

Date: Sat, 11 Jul 2009 13:07:14 GMT
Server: Microsoft-IIS/6.0
X-Powered-By: ASP.NET
X-Powered-By: PleskWin
X-AspNet-Version: 2.0.50727

When I go to add my first page then click "Update" for the first time I'm greeted with a 404 error. Go back to the admin section and the page isn't visible at first, but then appears after a short while (and then sometimes disappears!).

Played around with the Site Settings in the Admin section. None of the changes I make are visible after clicking "Update" - all fields revert back to the old values. But when checking the "Portals" table in the created database the modifications to all fields are present. The values also appear in the fields after clearing the cache in the "Host Settings" section.

Similar experiences when modifying page content - modifications not present initially, but appear after a while and sometimes disappear.

Do any of these symptoms sound familar? Looks like some sort of caching issue to me but that wouldn't explain the 404 error? (unless linked to the URL rewriter in some way...) Had a quick Google around but nothing was immediately apparent.

Thanks for any advice given!

Chris

Nobody has any suggestions to this? It's working fine when installed locally...

Any response seriously appreciated.
