I have been trying to install DNN 5.1 on a Windows 7 RC (7100) computer. Everything installs fine and I can get to the home page without a problem. The issue I am having is that it seems that session values are not being saved.

If I try to log in as host or any other user, I am just directed back to the home page and the control panel is not visible nor is the label that shows who is logged in. This lead me to believe that something must be happening with the session values. There are not issues with connecting to the database since I can put it an incorrect password and it recognizes that it is incorrect.

For the IIS7 app pool, I am using integrated mode and as I mentioned above, there were no issues with the install.

Any ideas on what might be happening?

Thanks,

Vince

I found the issue.  I had an underscore in the host name.  I recreated the site without the underscore and everything is working fine.

Thanks
