I am attempting to install v5.0.1 on a remote host, and am using the Install Wizard.  I have selected the "Typical" installation method.

I successfully pass the Permissions Check, and I successfully pass the Database Connection test.

That's the good news.  :)

On the next screen ("Run Database Installation Scripts"), I receive the following error message.

Installing Database - Version 05.00.00...FAILURE 400 - Timeout expired.  The timeout period elapsed prior to obtaining a connection from the pool.  This may have occurred because all pooled connections were in use and max pool size was reached.

I have to imagine the cause of the problem is something other than unavailable connections, as nothing else is using this database, however I am at a loss as to what to check.   Any advice is appreciated!

Thanks,
TD

there seems to be an issue with database access, make sure, the user you specified has database owner permission.

I confirmed that the specified user has db_owner rights.  Tried again and got the same result.

I then tried again, but this un-checked the "Run as db Owner" checkbox, and got the following error:

Installing Database - Version 05.00.00...FAILURE 400 - The stored procedure 'twd.UpdateDatabaseVersionAndName' doesn't exist.

I'm guessing that probably wasn't the right thing to do????

I suggest to restart with a blank database.
