Thanx for the info. I'll check it out but need to be clear on something.

What's the difference between Sync and Async? I always use Async cuz it's default.

Also... what's the difference between sending methods: To, CCO and Relay?

thanx.

I apologize, I am aware that online help doesn't provide much insight here.

"Async" sends mail in a background task, while "sync" sends it "inline", i.e. you have to wait, for it being finished and get the results being displayed on screen.

"To" means, each recipient gets a personal copy of the mail, if tokens are used, those are personalized including "Dear Shaun Walker, ..."

"BCC" means, all mails are sent as one mail to the sender with all recipients getting secretely included in BCC list (blind carbon copy). No personalization supported.

"Relay" is used to send mails by a special service, e.g. for using SMS.

Hi JP

The scheduler is the only true method to throttle email delivery. Are you using the scheduler together with your email module? This is important to assure proper functionality

So there's really no real difference for async and sync regarding the reception by each user. Just that with sync I can actually see report right away?

The scheduler is not involved in Core Newsletter module, only a simple background thread.
