How do we reach the DotNetNuke corp or the investors?

The fact we are now 30 days past the release of 5.1.0 and there is not a hotfix .1 version to fix the upgrade errors is crazy.    Supposedly there are paid programmers now.   I find it hard to believe people will pay for a version of DotNetNuke given the past timelines of important updates.   It's like here is 5.x, there we are 24 months late with it but here take it.   Oh wait, it has errors..  oh well.    The leaders/owners need to take some responsibility.

Brian .... please provide details. What is the website you are experiencing the issue with? What is the error YOU are experiencing. Do you actually post about any of your own issues?

The only high visibility issue for 5.1.1 I see during upgrades is the Event log primary issue, and this actually can be ignored.

5.1.1 should be out in the next few weeks when it is ready - unless you prefer we release a buggy build that isn't ready which should give you more amo... and of course we could delay this further by talking about it.

Question - Forgive me for asking. But who exactly are you? What do you do for a living? Which country are you from? Can you mention at least one websites that you maintain? Can we have more about the life of Brian please? I want to know roughly who I am talking to after all these years. If you live in the UK maybe we should have a drink and drown our sorrows. Or maybe there is a local core team member that might do something similar if we get to know you a little bit better.

How about DNN 9.4.1, any release dates for that yet?

Geez people get pushy.  Why is anyone using 5.1.0 in production without testing and accepting it first?  And why aren't any of those who seem to need the absolute latest buying the Pro version so they can get the direct support?  And why do I see so many people having upgrade issues who haven't made a backup before doing the upgrade?  Does DNN attract these types?

Jeff
