Hi,

I have the following issue with  forums. If you make someone a moderator of a specific forum, they should only be able to moderate that forum. However, it appears that this moderator can post directly to another forum without being moderated even though it is a moderated forum.

Does this mean that if you have moderator privileges you can then be exempt moderation on every other forum.

Regards,
Rajesh

If someone is a moderator of a forum, they are considered a trusted user. A trusted user is a user who doesn't require moderation in any moderated forum. What you are seeing is by design.

My question to you is why would you trust someone enough to moderate other user posts but not enough to post their own without approval?
