Well we've hit the limit of our shared GoDaddy Hosting account and now need to move to a dedicated server and away from GoDaddy.

My first choice is PowerDNN, but the costs are out of our budget.  Our site over the last year has become important as it host information for our team members over (6,000 team members, 3250 registered on our DNN site).

All we are hosting is a news and announcements site with a team calendar.  When we add a meeting on our calender it emails 1200 of the registered users who have asked to be notified of events.  So a few times a week we are sending out 1200 emails at a time and from my understanding is we can't use a shared hosting account to do that.

It has been suggested that we use a email service like constant contact or exact target, but we have invested in DNN software to do email and don't want to maintain to data-sets of users or lists.

Feedback, comments, recommendations... please.

 Have you chatted with the sales people at powerDNN to see how your needs match up with their shared hosting systems?

Chad-

You can shoot me over an e-mail to John.GrangeatPowerdnn.com.  I'd like to learn a little bit more about what you're doing and see if we can work with you on finding a package that works.

I look forward to your response.

I recommend 3Essentials of course (see my referral link) which I'm using for all my sites (or will be moving my sites over once previous plans have expired) after having issues with a hosting provider (which hasn't been mentioned here yet).

To give some balance as you might think I'm "biased" here, others may recommend;

websecurestores, ihostasp, easycgi, maximumASP,  DotNetPark,  ServerBeach  (although I've not had any dealings with these guys. these providers have been mentioned in these forums before).
