Mornign Everyone.

Some starting information: I am running DNN5 on Win7 with IIS7 and SQLExpress 2008, everything local.

I installed DNN and SQLexpress using the Microsoft Web Platform Installer, and everything went through without a hitch.

While reading the docs and experimenting with the site's settings, I noticed that I do not have access to the HOSTS admin section. As far as I am able to tell, it's as if the hosts portion of dnn was never installed, or installed so that I cannot access it. I have tried logging in with the default "host/dnnhost" user, and recieve invalid login errors.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Crunchy

I just checked my WPI install (haven't done anything with it, mostly used to set up IIS on my new machine) and I was able to log in with host/dnnhost, and the admin/host menu's are there.

Are you able to login as admin/dnnadmin?

Now that you mention it, no I can't. Neither the generic "admin" nor the "host" accounts will login.

I suppose this means my installation got borked somewhere along the way. I shall give it another shot.
