1.) I have verified that "dotNetNuke.Modules.Blog.dll" is in \Bin

2.) I have followed the notes on connecting to DNN Blog module and pasted the correct URL's

Any ideas on why IIS is having an issue Exception information:
    Exception type: HttpParseException
Exception message: Could not create type 'DotNetNuke.Modules.Blog.MetaWeblog.BlogPost'.

Any help is much appreciated.

Warm Regards,

Mike

I'm wondering if somehow an older version of the blog module was installed over the current version.  Or if an older version of the blog dll was somehow copied over the latest version.  You can check the properties of the dll or the size of the dll against the 3.5.1 release.

HTH,

Don

Hi Don,

Thanks for the suggestion!  I just verified that "DotNetNuke.Modules.Blog.dll" in /Bin is version 3.5.1.19887 and 268kb (274,432 bytes), so that looks good.

However, I noticed the third dll in my install image CookComputing.XmlRpc.dll, was not in the /Bin folder.

I added that dll, and Live Writer is now working great!   Not sure how that happend.

Thanks again!

Mike
