OK I am having some serious issues with what I think is vewstate although I cant be sure as I am still fairly new.  For example:

1.  I have a module that includes a gridview control.  It is databound using an ObjectDataSouce.
2.  When a non administrator (ie non portal admin and non host admin), accesses the site, and tries makes selections that will change what or how the data is displayed (such as going to the next page or sorting a column), the page does not register the change, and simply refresshes the data as is.  However, if I wait 60 secs (as far as I can tell anyways) and then make my selection, it displays as expected.
3. This action remains true for all databound objects accessed by said users.
4. When a portal or host admin accesses the same control it displays every time as expected.

I have browsed through all the user items for any vewstate or caching options based on user settings and can find nothing.

Any clues?

Thanks

You likely have Caching setup in the module settings, try turning that off then test the module out.

Thanks, I finally found it.

I had turned off caching in the host settings which apparently only turned it off for my admin/host settings?

Found the "Cache Time" setting under the module settings for my module.

Thanks you your help.
