Hi

I am tryiing to develop a webmethod to be used in the IWebCS module. The method is to create new pages with modules.

While trying to figure this out I have found myself confused by references to modules and desktopmodules.

For example, there is the class DotNetNuke.Entities.Modules.DesktopModuleInfo

and another called For example, there is the class DotNetNuke.Entities.Modules.ModuleInfo

What is the difference?

Thanks for your kind help

DesktopModules are the actual definition of the module.  They define what the module is, controls avaialble etc.

ModuleInfo is an INSTANCE of a module, something that is placed on a page.

Hope that helps....
