Hi Guys.

I recently upgraded one of my sites to the new Forum release.  The site runs on 4.8.4.

For some reason I have lost edit/administrator roles in the forum.  I am logging in as Host.

In the past I had been using the forum and contributing as a host account, not realizing until Crispy's known issues sticky thread, that this is not advisable.  Has this possibly created a problem in the upgrade of my forum?

The Host accounts generally are not admin accounts.  You have manual add the hostuser to the permissions and give them  the same rights as fo the Administrators role.

Ok, I find that interesting, I was under the impression host accounts has all the permissions of admin, plus more.  It has not been an issue before.

Despite that, I added the host account with edit permissions on the forum and that didnt change anything.

I've also tried clicking on the "My Settings" icon and get the following error.

A critical error has occurred.
Subquery returned more than 1 value. This is not permitted when the subquery follows =, !=, <, <= , >, >= or when the subquery is used as an expression.

There didnt appear to be any errors when the forum was upgraded.  I'm a little confused as to what has happened.

Dave
