Always backup first (including your database :)... then you should have nothing to worry about.
So far this looks like an issue with your database/hosting provider environment.

Hope it works out.

Thanks.

I did what you say, and I found a file that is bigger than allowed, and I run this:

fileid groupid size maxsize growth status perf name filename
1 1 25600 25600 640 2 0 spa0822803380569 D:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL.1\MSSQ (...)
2 0 1536 12800 640 66 0 spa0822803380569_log D:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL.1\MSSQ (...)

ALTER DATABASE spa0822803380569
MODIFY FILE NAME = [D:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL.1\MSSQLDATA\spa0822803380569.mdf],
MAXSIZE = UNLIMITED

But this error is showing up: Incorrect syntax near 'MODIFY'.

????

Brian

Can you tell me what's wrong with this syntax error, when you look at the code you gave me?

Best Regards,

Pere

Try changing the [square brackets] with 'single quotes'.

Don't forget to backup.
