Hello,

I currently have 5 DNN sites running on 2 different hosts. Here are the hosts I use and recommend:

www.powerdnn.com for premium DNN hosting, they only host DNN sites and their servers are fast. I am very happy with them, their tech support is great, and they will help you with DNN related issues, not just hosting issues.
sites hosted by them: www.annemurraycentre.com   www.bestbuddies.ca

www.resellerchoice.com , I use this host as the main host for my clients sites, great tech support, fast servers and one-click DNN install.
Sites hosted: www.aliveholistichealth.ca   www.lovesewing.com/toronto   www.stoneboutiquesuites.com

test out the example links I have listed.

Hope this info helps,

James

"Best" depends on your needs. This is subjective.

If you really want folks that know DNN and will help you get up and going and help with problems, I would recommend PowerDNN as well. I can't emphasize enough the value of a host that knows and supports DNN if that is what you are going with. I have used others that just sort of shrug about DNN problems and cost you loads of your own time to get up and going and to deal with problems.

thanks,

Will Sugg

So - For a guy like me who isn't a super DNN hotshot, but can barely keep my sites alive - and is SOOOOO sick of all the DNN runaround... Everyone pumping their own junk {shady is for sure} = who is also COMPLETELY fed up with my current host - iHOST - who's tech department's solution to EVERYTHING is to tell me to cut stuff out of the site, or just 'roll it back' {LAZY AND SHADY - all at the same time}, I'd give anything for some SOUND advice on a GOOD host who actually cares about their clients!

Thanks so much!

I'm a bit spoiled in this department, I guess. The company I work for hosts all our DNN sites locally (Around 70 at last count, ranging from version 3 thru to some in development 5.1.1 sites). If I had to do it all on my own right now, personally I'd just get a dedicated server with a basic MS Server / SQL setup and handle the administration personally. Something ultimately bothers me about having to deal with some phone monkey who knows even less about the framework, and likely even less (if at all) involved in the community. However, I also understand that some people don't want to deal with the nuts-and-bolts of the installation and administration, and for the 'turn-key' solution, I would probably look at PowerDNN first as I've heard generally positive reviews of their system. However, one reccomendation I can make with a fair amount of confidence is DON'T use GoDaddy. The fact that they still don't support 5.x on their hosted / shared solutions speaks volumes to me. Personaly, I only use GD for my domain registration and SSL management.
