I have a custom ascx module that references a WCF service in the code. I placed the system.servicemodel section in the web.config and I am getting the following error:

Could not find default endpoint element that references contract 'MoniNetService.IMoniNetService' in the ServiceModel client configuration section. This might be because no configuration file was found for your application, or because no endpoint element matching this contract could be found in the client element.

Please advise.

Hi

Are you putting your wcf config in the module's web configure file.If it is the case you need to copy it to the dnn web site web config.

For some reasons , it does not work in the module config file.
