I install the FCK 2.6.4.1 in DNN solution, my solution is DNN 4.08 and works in FF and IE but not works in Safari, any one know why?

If any one want know how I install the FCK in my web site, those are the steps:

The Zip for FCK I unzip and copy all files to:

\Providers\HtmlEditorProviders\Fck

And delete the files in:

\Providers\HtmlEditorProviders\Fck\FCKeditor\editor\filemanager\connectors\aspx

I would suggest that you at least upgrade to DNN 4.9.5 when it is out.

I've noticed when people edit text with Safari, the text loses all it's formatting.

i.e. if you have a table... the table structure will be lost.

It's apparently  a known incompatibility bug between  Safari and FCKEditor in general. http://dev.fckeditor.net/ticket/3443

the ticket states, that it is caused by a WebKit issue, which has been fixed in Safari 4.0.1

I suggest to upgrade your FCKEditor, please see http://support.dotnetnuke.com/Default.aspx?p=2&i=9975
