I just made a restore of my Database to DNN version 3.2.2 and retored all the files as well + and ftp the upgrade 4.3.7 on top.  When I go to my site I get the following installation message but my web site is giving me and error.  Is it because my db restore did not work or their are some files that I should delete s?

Thanks,

Eic

What exact error do you get when trying to go to the site.

If you are starting with a version of DotNetNuke that is below 4.6.2, I believe that you need to upgrade to 4.6.2 using the "manual" method of upgrading the web.config files.  There are items from your existing web.config that need to be copied into a renamed version of release.config in the upgrade package.  (Mitch's web site has great upgrade instructions, by the way!)

Once you get to 4.6.2, you can simply copy the 5.1.1 upgrade package on top of the existing web directory and the upgrade should proceed automagically.
