Are you using a specific port or an HTTP module e.g. for url rewriting or compression?

Hi Sebastian   Thanks for the reply.   The site is not running any module for compression or re-writing.  The instance of the portal is served on port 80.

While the login and register links fails,  so to does the menu bar, which fails to render <totally blank>not the Home and any other public page..    We can 'get' to the login using  ..../ctl/Login/language/en-US/Default.aspx workaround

Once we deprecate the dnnNav  and subsituated the dnnMenu for the  menu bar renders and the login/register functions.

Any suggestions are appreciated.

I got the same issue that DNN5 up to version 5.02.01 doesn't run on another port than 80. The problem is in the FriendlyURL provider. The quick and simple fix is to use the friendly url provider from ifinity. See these instructions on http://www.sailer.com.au/dotnetnuke/d...
